Drakolimni Lake, Tymfi

Drakolimni Lake in Tymfi is one of the most iconic alpine destinations in Epirus and belongs to the wildest, most mountainous side of Zagori. It is located in the Tymfi mountain range, at an altitude of about 2,050 meters, within the protected zone of northern Pindos, and the most popular route to reach it starts from Mikro Papigo, with a stop at the Astrakas refuge and then continues to the lake.
